Backend Software Engineer
I build quiet, durable systems - Java and Spring Boot services that hold up under load, and the cloud plumbing underneath them. Three and a half years of it, mostly in the space where multi-tenant platforms meet a deadline.
Off the clock I’m on a bike, on a ridgeline, or a cup deep in something I’m reading.
01 · The work
All of it at Access Systems in Kathmandu - long enough to own the architecture I helped build, and to watch the decisions age.

Open repositories first, then the work that lives behind a company VPN.
Kept in the open, and better judged by reading it than by anything I could say here. Have a look around.

Proprietary3+ production Spring Boot microservices with JWT auth and RBAC for tenant-isolated enterprise data.
ProprietaryHigh-volume sensor ingestion on ClickHouse and TimescaleDB feeding downstream reporting and analytics.

The first pour happens before anything else does. Most of the good decisions on that résumé were made somewhere around the second cup.
Kathmandu traffic is a distributed system with no coordinator. A long ride out of the valley is the closest thing I have to a garbage collector.
Mostly non-fiction, some fiction to stay human. I read slowly and re-read the good ones - the same way I review code.
Nepal makes it easy to be humbled by elevation. Long walks, thin air, no signal - the best debugging environment there is.

Open to backend and platform work, and always happy to talk about Spring, Kubernetes, or where to ride next.
